Giving rural health
a consistent voice
across California.

CSRHA had decades of relationships and knowledge across rural California health, but no consistent channel to share it. Noteworthy Lab built and runs the production behind their podcast, so the association can show up regularly without building a media team.

The Challenge

A respected voice with no reliable way to be heard.

Since 1995, CSRHA has worked to make sure the needs and voices of rural Californians are heard, advancing their health through advocacy, collaboration, and education. It's a membership association with deep relationships across rural health: the providers, organizations, and advocates doing the work in the parts of the state that rarely get airtime in statewide conversations.

What it didn't have was a dependable way to share that expertise. Producing a podcast well takes more than a microphone: it takes booking and scheduling guests, recording support, editing, show notes, a publishing workflow, and someone making sure an episode actually ships on a regular cadence. For a lean membership association, standing up that operation in-house wasn't realistic, and an inconsistent show that publishes sporadically does more harm than good.

What We Did

Built the production engine so CSRHA only has to bring the conversation.

Noteworthy Lab runs CSRHA's podcast end to end as an ongoing production engagement. The association brings its expertise and its guests; we handle everything required to turn that into published episodes on a reliable schedule.

That means editorial planning and guest coordination, recording support, post-production editing, show notes, and the publishing and distribution workflow that gets each episode out to listeners. The production system is built to run consistently month after month, which is what turns a podcast from a side project into a real channel.

The result is a show CSRHA can sustain. Because the operational weight sits with us, the association can focus on the substance, the conversations with the people doing rural health work across California that its audience can't get anywhere else, rather than the logistics of media production.

“Our listeners love the show and as a content creator, it really couldn't be any easier now that Noelia and her team are on board recording. The show is now one of my favorite things to do.”
